Through research, documentation, cultural diplomacy, institutional cooperation, capacity-building and responsible use of digital tools, the Observatory helps strengthen the role of culture in development policies. Its work makes arts, cultures and traditions powerful drivers of social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, creativity, peace, intergenerational transmission and sustainable development.
